Jalen Hurts is officially a Sooner.
Oklahoma announced Tuesday evening that Hurts signed his financial aid agreement and is enrolled in classes. The transfer quarterback from Alabama has one year of eligibility at OU.
"There's a great foundation here at Oklahoma, and Coach Riley does a great job," Hurts said in a release. "He's very efficient in what he does. And for my last ride, my senior year, I want to be a part of it."
The Channelview, Texas native was 26-2 as Alabama's starting quarterback in 2016 and 2017. He lost his job to eventual Heisman Trophy runner-up Tua Tagovailoa last season.
