NORMAN — Jalen Hurts took his familiar place behind the press conference podium Monday morning, but then he called an audible.
The Oklahoma quarterback who specializes in brevity delivered a 45-second opening statement rather than going straight to questions.
"Look, I'm just gonna say that the culture here at Oklahoma right now is all centered on us playing to our standard, and us playing our brand of football," Hurts said. "We try to go out there and have the right mental intensity, the right effort, the right approach, the right attention to detail and discipline to do our jobs.
