NORMAN — Once the Sooners landed back in Oklahoma after their 48-41 loss to Kansas State, Jalen Hurts called a team meeting while they were still at the airport.
The team meeting was where the players started to put the loss behind them, sophomore defensive lineman Ronnie Perkins told media members on Monday night.
"We just put it behind us then," Perkins said. "We just made a pact to each other: we’re going to do everything for each other, we’re going to play for each other and give it all we got."
Hurts took charge of the meeting, and the whole team gathered around to listen to the senior quarterback's message.
