Jalen Hurts and CeeDee Lamb are semifinalists for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award, it was announced Thursday.
The Award is given annually to college football's best offensive player with a Texas connection. Both Hurts and Lamb are from Texas.
Other semifinalists for the award include Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger, Ohio State running back J.K. Dobbins and Baylor quarterback Charlie Brewer.
Senior quarterback Hurts has thrown for 3,039 yards and 28 touchdowns while running for 983 yards and another 15 touchdowns this year. Lamb, a junior wide receiver, has recorded 983 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns this season.
