ARLINGTON, Texas — Creed Humphrey missed all of spring practice due to a hand injury, but Oklahoma’s sophomore center will be at full health when fall camp begins.
“It wasn’t like a ton of physical progress during that time,” Humphrey said Monday. “It was a lot more mental progress and building the chemistry with the line, being a guy that they can come ask me anything about.”
The Shawnee native is OU’s only returning starter on the offensive line. He started each of OU’s final 11 games and was named to the All-Big 12 second team.
The outlook for a fellow local lineman is less certain.
