Brock Vandagriff’s mother never imagined that the punishment could lead where it has.
Looking back recently in the aftermath of the Class of 2021 quarterback’s commitment to Oklahoma, Vandagriff’s father pointed to a seventh-grade punishment as being a turning point.
When he was in seventh grade, Vandagriff would aggravate his younger sisters, Anna Greer and Audrey at breakfast after Greg Vandagriff would leave for his job as an assistant football coach at Woodward Academy in the Atlanta area.
When Kelly Vandagriff had enough, she issued the edict. Brock would have to wake up earlier and head to school with his father.
