CHOCTAW — Logan Roberson has spent most days over the last three years at Nutrition & Athletic Club, a gym owned and operated by former Oklahoma fullback J.D. Runnels.
“I live right down the road, so I’m out here every day,” Roberson said.
The 6-foot-5, 318-pound Harrah offensive lineman flew under the radar in the recruiting world for most of his high school career, but kept plugging away with Runnels serving as his personal trainer, sounding board and adviser. All of that finally paid off earlier this month, when Oklahoma offered Roberson a scholarship and the senior-to-be committed on the spot.
