Oklahoma freshman defensive lineman Derek Green is leaving the school, according to multiple reports.
"I am planning to go serve our country proudly and hit the [transfer] portal if I change my mind," Green told SoonerScoop.com. "I know my family is talking degree first, so I will hit the portal sometime. But I will be enlisting for my good."
Green, from Jacksonville, North Carolina, was an early enrollee in OU's 2019 class. He was a three-star prospect and the 57th-ranked defensive tackle in the 2019 class, according to 247Sports.
