AMES, Iowa — OU struggled for a second consecutive game, falling 37-30 to Iowa State on Saturday night at Jack Trice Stadium.
While the Sooners collapsed against Kansas State the week before after leading 35-14 late in the third quarter, Saturday night's struggles were ongoing throughout.
Here are five takeaways from the loss:
1. Cyclones rise, streaks fall
It had been a long, long, LONG time since Iowa State had beaten the Sooners in their home stadium.
Bud Wilkinson was coaching the Sooners the last time they fell in Ames, in 1960.
That wasn't the only streak that ended Saturday.
