NORMAN — The Tennessee game showed just how dangerous Eric Striker and Devante Bond could be on the field together.
Striker devastated the Volunteers a year earlier and garnered plenty of attention from Tennessee's offense.
That freed up Bond to make plays coming off the edge, and once he started making those plays and the Vols' attention turned his way, Striker was able to come through with several plays of his own.
The tanden of standup edge rushers wound up combining for 11 tackles and 21/2 sacks with one more tackle for loss thrown in.
“I think we've got the same kind of thing,” Striker said.
