NORMAN — The first thing Matt Romar remembers about the second day of Oklahoma's fall camp is waking up in the hospital.
There are flashes, brief foggy moments in the ambulance, but not nearly enough to form a linear memory.
It wasn't until later that Oklahoma's head athletic trainer Scott Anderson showed Romar the video, and he saw the hit that that knocked him down, put him in the hospital and ultimately kept him out of practice — and off the football field — for a month.
“(Anderson) told me about exactly where the guy hit me and how he had dropped me like that,” Romar said.
