NORMAN — Curtis Bolton was seething in the locker room at the Cotton Bowl a week and a half ago.
Oklahoma trailed Texas 24-17 at halftime, and Bolton wasn't on the field in the second quarter, replaced by Caleb Kelly — the player he'd beaten out for the starting weakside linebacker spot before the season.
Those frustrations boiled over, Bolton said Tuesday in his first public comments since the game save for a couple of Tweets. Bolton said they did not, though, result in Bolton coming to blows with then-defensive coordinator Mike Stoops, despite what one prominent local radio host reported in the aftermath of the Sooners' loss and Stoops' firing.
