NORMAN — Competing against teammates on the opposite side of the ball in practice improves both players.
There are two Sooners have especially been helped by practicing against each other this season, coach Lincoln Riley said on Monday.
Redshirt sophomore center Creed Humphrey and redshirt senior defensive lineman Neville Gallimore have been battling each other in practice, and it's helped both of them get better, Riley said.
"It’s helped, for sure. It’s made them both better," Riley said. "Those two guys – it’s a pretty good battle there the majority of the time. Absolutely made Creed and Neville better.
