CHOCTAW – If someone were to look at Jordan Mukes' stats through Choctaw's three playoff games, they wouldn't find much.
Then again, the receivers he was covering hardly had any stats, either.
Perhaps no Oklahoma high school prospect had more to prove coming into the season than Mukes, who signed with OU on Wednesday. Yet Mukes did more than just prove he was worthy of his offer.
He went out and became one of the state's best defensive back.
"He just keeps getting better and better," Choctaw coach Jake Corbin said. "His technique, his work ethic keeps getting better.
