While several other schools — including Ohio State — have released preliminary plans for caps on the number of fans should the college football season be able to be played, OU has yet to make such a determination.
Texas interim president Jay Hartzell said this week in a campus-wide email that the Longhorns were examining a limit of 25 percent capacity. Ohio State announced a plan to limit the number of fans to 20 percent of capacity recently.
OU athletic director Joe Castiglione said Tuesday that the school continues to examine a number of models, ranging from “more than 50 percent” to having no fans in the stands.
