NORMAN — Senior linebacker Caleb Kelly went in the game for the Sooners against TCU on Saturday night.
Kelly had not played in a game for Oklahoma this season prior to Saturday after suffering an injury in the spring. Oklahoma coach Lincoln Riley said he was cleared to play earlier this season, and he has been practicing to get game ready.
On Wednesday, Riley said Kelly wouldn't go through Senior Day festivities, likely indicating that he would redshirt and be back for the Sooners next season. He did not participate in Oklahoma's pregame Senior Day celebration on Saturday.
