Former Oklahoma star Baker Mayfield will be named the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns on Monday, according to a report from cleveland.com.
Mayfield, on Thursday, led the Browns to a 21-17 win against the New York Jets. It was Cleveland's first win since Christmas Eve 2016.
Mayfield replaced starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor just before halftime when Taylor was taken to the locker room to be examined for a concussion. The Browns trailed 14-0 when Mayfield entered the game.
The Heisman winner finished 17 for 23 through the air with 201 passing yards.
Cleveland plays at Oakland next Sunday.
