Ada native and former Sooner Brian Odom has been hired as Oklahoma's new inside linebackers coach, the school announced Tuesday evening.
Odom spent the last two seasons as Missouri's outside linebackers coach, where he worked for older brother Barry Odom.
Brian Odom was an All-State running back at Ada High School. He played at OU in 2000 and 2001 before transferring to Southeastern Oklahoma State.
"Working at a place like Oklahoma is a once-in-a-career opportunity, in my opinion," Odom said in a release. "I grew up in the state, just down the road in Maysville and Ada, and went to games in the 80s and parts of the 90s.
