NORMAN — Former Sooner quarterback Austin Kendall will return to Norman this weekend as an opponent when Oklahoma hosts West Virginia.
Kendall knows OU's offense, and he knows how the offensive line operates.
But Bill Bedenbaugh, OU's longtime offensive line coach, was stumped when asked if Kendall's familiarity with the scheme will affect calls or signals.
"That's a good question," Bedenbaugh said Tuesday. "I haven't thought about it one bit."
"We go fast," Bedenbaugh added. "It’s hard to pick up on that stuff, I’m sure. Hell, I didn’t even think about it. I have a lot of stuff to worry about.
