Oklahoma kick returner Alex Ross was fantastic a year ago, averaging 31.2 yards per return and taking two back for touchdowns.
Until Saturday night, he’d been quiet this season.
But after the Cowboys took a 3-0 lead in the first quarter, Ross finally broke loose.
He didn’t quite get into the end zone but his 90-yard kick return led to a Sooners touchdown just a play later when Mayfield hit Sterling Shepard for a 4-yard touchdown.
Ross was injured on his kick return but came back out for the next one.
