LAWRENCE, Kan. — Oklahoma limited Kansas to seven points through three quarters Saturday, but the Jayhawks piled up 152 yards and scored 13 points in the fourth quarter.
Those final 15 minutes were meaningless to OU's 45-20 win, but they left defensive coordinator Alex Grinch with a bad taste in his mouth.
“It always comes back to us,” Grinch said of the staff. “We have to do a better job of convincing these guys how appropriate and how important it is to finish. They don’t timestamp your rep with the score.
“Let’s be selfish enough to not have that clip late in the football game.
