NORMAN — Oklahoma’s game against Army in 2020 will be played in historic Michie Stadium, Oklahoma athletic director Joe Castiglione said this week.
There were questions over whether the game, scheduled for Sept. 26, 2020, would be able to be played at the Black Knights’ campus stadium due to planned renovations at the stadium.
Army is still raising funds for the renovation, which might not begin until after the Sooners visit.
The Black Knights have played games in New Jersey’s Meadowlands and at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.
“When we scheduled this particular series, that was one of the special opportunities that went along with putting it on our schedule,” Castiglione said.
