Former Oklahoma star Trae Young will be among the athletes in attendance at The ESPYS on Wednesday night.
Young was nominated for Best Breakthrough Athlete. The Atlanta Hawks point guard averaged 19.1 points and 8.1 assists per game last season. He finished second to Luka Doncic in NBA Rookie of the Year voting.
Young is in special company for the award. Reigning National League MVP Christian Yelich, 21-year-old tennis phenom Naomi Osaka and NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Saquon Barkley are the other nominees.
The ESPYS will air at 7 p.m. Wednesday on ABC.
