NORMAN — The meat of Oklahoma's schedule has arrived.
The No. 3 Sooners had a challenging non-conference schedule and will face plenty of tests down the road, but the two-game stretch that begins Saturday evening at home against No. 11 Iowa State (6 p.m., ESPN2) is one that stood out from the moment the schedule was released.
Forty-eight hours after taking on the Cyclones, OU will play at Kansas in a game that could feature the top two teams in the country after top-ranked Michigan State lost earlier in the week.
“It's a huge challenge,” Sooners coach Lon Kruger said.
