AUSTIN, Texas — The shots finally fell early for Oklahoma.
But Saturday against Texas, they didn't go late.
The No. 3 Sooners went cold in the final seven minutes and No. 25 Texas pulled out a 76-63 win at the Frank Erwin Center.
Oklahoma led by seven with 7:29 remaining when Buddy Hield drove toward the basket, broke down Texas' Jevan Felix and drilled a jumper as Felix fell to the floor.
It seemed like that might be the knock-out blow for the Sooners and Hield, who had controlled the game but hadn't been able to pull away.
