When Christian James elevated and attacked the rim over Zach Brown, Oklahoma had a golden opportunity to get back into Saturday's game against Wichita State.
The Sooners trailed by six but a three-point play could swing the momentum heavily in the favor of Oklahoma with less than 2:30 to play Saturday at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
But James' shot didn't fall, only one of his two free throws did and Daishon Smith hit a corner 3-pointer on the next possession to give the Shockers more cushion en route to a 76-73 Wichita State win in the All-College Classic.
