NORMAN — Christian James continues to lead Oklahoma in scoring, but his efficiency has declined since Big 12 play began.
The senior guard had his lowest scoring game of the season Wednesday in Stillwater: 5 points on 2 of 7 shooting. He missed all four 3-point attempts.
James is shooting 36 percent from the field and 28 percent from three through seven conference games. Miles Reynolds and Matt Freeman are the only Sooners who have shot worse from the floor since the calendar flipped to 2019.
In 12 non-conference games, James shot 47 percent from the floor and 37 percent from three.
