MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Oklahoma didn't rain 3-pointers all night, like they've done most of the season.
But the No. 3 Sooners beat No. 10 West Virginia 76-62 on Saturday afternoon at WVU Coliseum, relying on tough interior defense, strong rebounding and yet another big day from Buddy Hield.
Hield scored a game-high 29 points as the Sooners won in Morgantown for the first time since 2013.
Hield passed Stacey King for fifth on OU's career scoring list and became the sixth Sooner to score 2,000 points in his career.
The Sooners put the game away on Isaiah Cousins' 3-pointer with just under three minutes to play.
