COLUMBIA, S.C. — The emotions that pile up through a 33-game season were broken down in streams of tears in Oklahoma’s locker room after its loss to Virginia. Miles Reynolds sat in the first red locker on the right, encapsulating the scene through bloodshot eyes and stammered speech.
Reynolds, a graduate transfer whose OU career can be counted in months instead of years, spoke with a contemplation that showed how close the Sooners had become in his one season.
“Ever since my first couple days on campus, even going back to my visit, I knew this was a very special group of guys that were going to be a pleasure to be around,” Reynolds said.
