NORMAN — As Matt Freeman stood at midcourt next to his mom and shook Lon Kruger’s hand on Senior Day at Lloyd Noble Center, it appeared his Oklahoma career was wrapping up early.
Freeman will assess his options after this season — whether that’s to remain at OU, play elsewhere as a graduate transfer, or return to his New Zealand home — but the junior’s participation in Senior Day does not signal a sure exit, he told The Oklahoman.
“My mind’s not set on anything,” Freeman said. “I got asked whether I wanted to do Senior Night, and I saw it as going out with the guys I came in with.
