NORMAN — The Drew family might as well have met in Norman over the weekend for a family reunion.
Two days after Bryce Drew's Vanderbilt squad played at Lloyd Noble Center in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge, Scott Drew's Baylor Bears will be in Norman for an 8 p.m. Monday matchup against Oklahoma.
There's likely to be note trading between the two.
“Brothers probably would do that, and we would expect that,” OU coach Lon Kruger said. “That's understandable.”
Members of Oklahoma's staff believe it's the first time they've faced back-to-back teams coached by brothers, and Bryce Drew said he and Scott have never played the same opponent in consecutive games.
