COLUMBIA, S.C. — Kur Kuath emerged as a surprise contributor through Oklahoma's first six games this season, but a stress fracture in his lower back kept him sidelined for the remaining of the year.
The transfer center from Salt Lake Community College will likely receive a medical redshirt, giving him two remaining years of eligibility.
"I was planning on coming back in the middle of the season, but my back held me out for six, seven games," Kuath said. "I knew missing those games that it would be hard to find the rhythm I needed to get back.
