After Oklahoma beat his Wisconsin team 65-48 on Sunday afternoon, Badgers coach Bo Ryan thought back to a memory from his playing days.
“My old coach, one time when we weren't shooting it real well, he said he could drop kick and make more baskets than we could,” Ryan said. “He actually drop kicked the ball in practice and it went in.
“I don't think I'd try that, but I might tomorrow.”
Wisconsin shot just 16 of 68 (23.5 percent) from the floor against the Sooners.
The Badgers' shooting percentage was their worst since 2006 and the second worst in the Bo Ryan era, which began in 2001.
