Jamuni McNeace will begin his professional basketball career in Finland. The former Oklahoma center signed with Vilpas Vikings in Korisliiga — the country's top basketball league.
McNeace's playing time was limited in his senior season with the Sooners as he dealt with persistent ankle injuries. He averaged 4.7 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. McNeace was most productive as a junior, averaging 6.8 points and 5.4 rebounds while blocking 46 shots.
The Kankakee, Illinois native ranks sixth in program history with 117 career blocks.
The Finnish league consists of 11 teams. Vilpas finished with the best regular-season record last season.
