The afternoon before No. 23-ranked OU's Tuesday night showdown at No. 8 Texas Tech, Reaves had to stand out. The transfer from Wichita State was playing the role of Red Raiders star Jarrett Culver — a 6-foot-5 sophomore guard who's a projected lottery pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. The alternate jersey color reminded the Sooner starters who they have to shut down.
“I'm not gonna be able to play like him,” Reaves admitted. “He's a really, really good player and can score at all three levels.
