NORMAN — Even on an off night, Buddy Hield can find ways to make things happen.
Hield hit a 3-pointer with 1.4 seconds left to lift No. 3 Oklahoma to a 63-60 win over No. 24 Texas at Lloyd Noble Center on Monday night.
The Sooners trailed for much of the game and Hield was mostly cold from the field before taking over late, finishing with 27 points.
Hield scored 12 of those points in the final 3:20 to keep the Sooners (20-3, 8-3 Big 12) in the thick of the Big 12 race.
Hield was just 7 of 18 from the field and 3 of 10 from behind the 3-point line but came through when it mattered most.
