NORMAN—Buddy Ball is coming back to Lloyd Noble Center.
Buddy Hield, the Big 12 Player of the Year, announced Friday in a press conference at Lloyd Noble Center that he would return to Oklahoma for his senior season.
With Hield’s return, the Sooners will bring back four starters from a team that made the Sweet 16.
Oklahoma loses just starting forward TaShawn Thomas, reserve forward D.J. Bennett and reserve guard Frank Booker. Thomas and Bennett graduated while Booker announced he would transfer after the season.
With Hield, guards Isaiah Cousins and Jordan Woodard and forward Ryan Spangler returning, as well as a strong incoming class, Oklahoma will enter next season with high expectations.
