OU basketball: Bill Self says grad transfers have changed Sooners

LAWRENCE, Kan. — Christian James has developed into a primary scorer and Oklahoma has emerged as a top-10 defensive team, yet the arrival of two graduate transfer guards left the biggest impression on Kansas coach Bill Self.

"I think the two grad transfers have totally changed their team," Self said Wednesday night following Kansas's 70-63 win against OU.

Both graduate transfers — Aaron Calixte from Maine and Miles Reynolds from Pacific — started in OU's backcourt at Allen Fieldhouse.

Calixte scored 10 points and dished three assists against the Jayhawks. Reynolds had seven points, three rebounds and two assists.
