NORMAN — De’Vion Harmon rushed the ball up the floor and found Austin Reaves on the right wing. Reaves swished the off-balance 3-pointer, and the two celebrated with a high five.
Oklahoma’s practice Thursday afternoon showed early signs of a new backcourt connection between the freshman point guard and the soon-to-be-unveiled transfer.
Reaves sat out last season after transferring from Wichita State. No longer wearing a scout team jersey, the 6-foot-5 guard will be a key piece for the Sooners this season.
“I’ve thought about it a lot,” Reaves said of making his OU debut. “It goes through my head every day, and honestly I can’t wait.
