Former Oklahoma Sooner Amath M'Baye is one of 12 players who will represent France in the upcoming FIBA Basketball World Cup.
France is ranked third in the world behind the United States and Spain.
M'Baye joins a roster that features NBA players Rudy Gobert, Evan Fournier, Nicolas Batum and Frank Ntilikina.
M'Baye played one season at OU in 2012-13 after transferring from Wyoming. He started 32 games for the Sooners and averaged 10.1 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.
The 6-foot-9 forward has played professionally in Japan and Italy. He recently signed with Pinar Karsiyaka in Turkey.
