ANAHEIM, Calif. — Khadeem Lattin doesn't talk a lot about Big Daddy. Oh, Lattin will answer, with a smile, questions about his grandfather. He'll share what he knows about his family's lofty status in basketball history.
“It's awesome knowing that my grandfather permanently affected the way we played the game and the way the game was looked at,” Lattin said. “So it's nice to know that my legacy is intertwined with basketball.”
But the underlying message is clear. Khadeem Lattin is on his own road to glory.
Lattin's Sooners play Texas A&M on Thursday night in the NCAA West Regional in the Honda Center.
