Oklahoma basketball has its first signee of the 2019 class: four-star forward Victor Iwuakor.
Iwuakor, from Sulphur Springs, Texas, is the 93rd-ranked prospect nationally, according to the 247Sports composite. He's the No. 9 player in Texas.
“Victor is just a big-time athlete," OU coach Lon Kruger said in a release. "Great enthusiasm for playing and for being a Sooner. He's played inside most of his life, but we'll move him out on the floor and make progress every year. His biggest asset is the ability to block shots. He changes shots on the defensive end and is a great rebounder as well.
