NORMAN — Asked about his recent play, Oklahoma pitcher Robert Tasin smiles a bit, looking almost embarrassed.
“It’s going pretty well I think,” the fifth-year senior said. “I feel confident on the mound, feel good about my pitches, location.”
Tasin should feel good about what he’s doing right now.
He didn’t start Big 12 play in the rotation but Tasin nailed down the Sunday starter role before the opening weekend of conference play was over.
Jake Elliott, Alec Hansen and Tasin have given the Sooners a formidable weekend rotation that they’ll take into this weekend’s Bedlam series in Tulsa and Oklahoma City.
