NORMAN — Oklahoma’s recent trip to Texas paid dividends.
Not only on the field — the Sooners went 2-2 during the week, including a series win over Rice — but in residual effect as well.
The most notable part of it has been Levi Prater’s dominance.
In his last two outings — a 6-0 win at Rice to end that series and a 6-1 win over Missouri State last weekend — Prater has been nothing short of dominant.
He’s combined for 15 innings, allowing just four hits, two walks and one run — on a wind-aided home run that was the only ball to leave the infield against Missouri State.
