NORMAN — Steele Walker isn't going to pretend that the looming Major League Baseball Draft isn't a focus for him.
“I'm super excited,” Oklahoma's right fielder said.
It's just not the only focus.
Heading into the final series of the regular season — the Sooners play at Kansas for a three-game set beginning Thursday — Oklahoma is in third place in the Big 12 with a chance at second if things break right.
But the draft is also becoming a bigger and bigger deal for at least two Sooners — Walker and center fielder Kyler Murray.
