Less than a month after being selected to the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame, Oklahoma Athletic Director Joe Castiglione is the recipient of another honor.
Castiglione, who is approaching the 20th anniversary of his hire, was one of four athletic directors at FBS schools to be given the Under Armour AD of the Year Award by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics.
Texas Tech's Kirby Hocutt, who worked at OU under Castiglione, Virginia Tech's Whit Babcock and Wisconsin's Barry Alvarez were also recipients of the award, which honors accomplishments from February 2017 through January 2018.
