STILLWATER — For weeks, Oklahoma State golfers have had to drive past the signs advertising the NCAA women's golf championships on their home course of Karsten Creek Golf Club.
But after coming up one stroke short of qualifying as a team at last week's regional, only one player will be carrying the Cowgirl banner when play opens on Friday.
Originally from France, OSU's Emma Broze won a playoff to get into the field as an individual.
Players will take the course at 7:30 a.m. Friday, though Broze will tee off at 1:10 p.m. to see if her home-course knowledge will give her an edge.
