STILLWATER — Mason Rudolph walked straight to the front of the room, followed by a media horde.
The Oklahoma State quarterback knew the questions that were coming, and he had the answers ready.
“I take full responsibility for the turnovers in the third quarter,” Rudolph said of his two crucial mistakes that provided a 10-point swing in the No. 11 Cowboys' 62-52 loss to fifth-ranked Oklahoma Saturday night.
He didn't duck the questions or give generic “we need to do better” answers.
He owned what he had done wrong, and his team will be better for it.
