NORMAN — Taylor Cornelius' head was tilted downward, his eyes blankly staring toward the knees of the media crowded around him as he described the failed two-point conversion play that ultimately sealed Oklahoma State's 48-47 loss to No. 6 Oklahoma on Saturday night at Owen Field.
He talked about how the play was designed for man coverage from the defense and how the cornerback guarding receiver Tylan Wallace drifted across the formation as Wallace went in motion.
He described what he saw and how he felt as they executed the play: X flow river arrow.
“It was a good play, just…” Cornelius paused, raised his head and looked directly in the eyes of the reporter who had asked about the play.
