Earlier this week, Texas coach Charlie Strong said running back Chris Warren wouldn’t be playing Saturday, and now it appears that he’s possibly done for the season.
The sophomore, who suffered a knee injury against Oklahoma State, could be out 6-8 weeks according to a report from Orangebloods. The Austin-American Statesman confirmed through a source that he would be out for a significant amount of time. Through the first four games, Warren rushed for 366 yards on 62 carries and scored four touchdowns.
With Warren out, the running game will go through D’Onta Foreman, Kyle Porter and Tristan Houston.
